My name is Yan (my registered Chinese name), and I am the owner of LovelyChinaLady. I came to live in China about two years ago. I am an electrical engineer by occupation, originally from South Africa, and here in China I do freelance engineering jobs and teaching. I love the way of life in China, and I find the Chinese people and their culture fascinating!

I had this idea to start a website for foreign guys and Chinese ladies to meet way back in South Africa, when a close friend of mine got married to a wonderful China girl. In fact, many men in South Africa like Chinese girls. Living here in China now, I became to realize that China girls are definitely amongst the most beautiful women in the world.
